Tiwaz came about because of the 2005 Mountain View Parade. Since I moved out from the bay area in late 2003, I try to get back whenever possible, and one of these occasions was for the parade. The theme for the parade this year was 'Jungle', and I tried to make a costume that would fit in with that theme. Figuring that a tiger probably would fit in with the jungle setting, I set to work and put him together in a relatively short (for me anyway) amount of time.

He actually made his first appearance the weekend before the Mountain View parade, in Victoria BC for the Times Colonist 10K run.
