I've actually been thinking about doing a bird for a while, but finally after an IRC conversation with some people talking about bird masks, as well as looking at a page on how to make bird wings, I decided to go ahead and see if I could get one done by Hallowe'en. Many thanks to Diadexxus for helping to motivate me to work on this project, as I don't think that I would have been able to just by myself. Why a magpie? Well, it's a little known thing, but my first character on an online chat was a magpie, and I've always had a love for them. Very pretty birds.
